Hello dear Flist!

So, basically it's been forever since I've posted.
I guess the (US) Summer TV hiatus really effects my livejournal life.
But, now I'm back and very excited for upcoming TV - I really have no life!

I've being working my butt off lately, saving up lots of money to get my trip organised.
I'm heading back to Canada for the winter Olympics in February. While there I'm gonna check out what Alberta has to offer, which will probably include Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, etc, etc. Then I'll be heading back east to my surrogate hometown of Montreal, where I spent 6 months in 2007 - it's gonna be so great to go back and visit.

From there we are heading to Boston, New Jersey, DC and NY. And from NY we head to the UK where we will stay until December.
I love to travel, it's been over 2 years since I last left Australia, so this is going to be amazing, I just know it!

So, during my own hiatus from LJ, I got addicted to Bones. VERY addicted to Bones. I have always liked David Boreanaz as I was a Buffy fan back in the day and I always wanted to get into Bones, but Australian TV is stupid when it comes to US shows and I never remember when anything is on. But, I managed to catch up on the first 4 seasons a couple of months back and I'm just dying for more.
I also love Emily Deschanel! And John Francis Daley and I are intended to be married. That'll show John Krasinski :P

So bring on Friday arvo (Thursday night US) - so I can get me some fresh Bones! 



Something else to look forward to is The Office!  I do love this show, I hold it very close to my heart ;)



I'm so excited for this season, to see Jim and Pam being pregnant (huzzah!) and I'm really hoping they can rope Amy Ryan into returning to play Holly - I'm sad to say I love Holly and Michael nearly as much as I love Jim & Pam ... not quite.

Now if only NBC would bring Chuck back early :( there is still hope!

Also waiting on 30 Rock, HIMYM, Grey's, Private Practice.
I do miss Pushing Daisies too :(

That's enough TV talk, I really do have no life *sigh*

So tomorrow I've got a rare day off from work and I plan on positioning myself in front of the TV for a couple of hours to watch the election process.

I'm praying to God that the right man gets the job. In my opinion the result doesn't only affect the US, it affects the world.
The US is such a prominent figure here in Australia, and our greatest allie (besides the UK obviously ... they own us), that I'll be scared if a couple of "Maverick's" make it to the White House.

On another note, my horse came no where today - stupid Melbourne Cup. One day I'll win ... one day.

My friends horse came last and apparently walked over the line - too funny!
